Dating a 1960's Quilt Top

This is a disappearing nine-patch I "restyled" from my late mom's 1960's quilt top.

 

And here she is at the beach in 1967 wearing her homemade blouse made with that same fabric.

This is the pinwheel design that I wanted to use for my "restyled" quilt top.

And when I was not paying close attention yesterday afternoon, I ended up with this beauty. 

I goofed! 

Now 9 squares are pinwheels and 9 squares are "overlays." 

No ripping out for me! I can deal with charming errors!
